Cookies
A short, factual overview of what happens in your browser on euphronic.com, what gets stored, and when tracking kicks in. No surprises.
On your first visit, a cookie banner appears with three buttons: Reject all, Customize, Accept all. All three are the same size and weight — refusing is no harder than accepting. Until you decide, no analytics or error reporting runs.
Necessary (always on)
These items are required for the site to work at all. They do not need consent.
- Forum sign-in The cookies
sb-access-tokenandsb-refresh-tokenare set only after you sign in. httpOnly, secure. - Administrator access The cookie
eu_adminis set only after sign-in to/admin. HMAC-signed, httpOnly, secure, sameSite=lax. - Your cookie decision An entry in localStorage under the key
euphronic-cookie-consent— technically browser local storage, not a cookie.
Analytics
Active only if you click Accept all or tick this category under Customize. It does not use cookies — it uses a rotating device fingerprint, which under ePrivacy rules is treated like a cookie and therefore requires the same consent.
- Vercel Analytics Anonymous visitor stats — visit counts, pages, referral source. No personal identifiers.
- Speed Insights Page load speed measurement. Helps surface slow spots.
Error reporting
Active only after consent. Captures technical errors in the browser — JavaScript exceptions, network failures — and sends an anonymous report.
- Sentry Session Replay Recording starts only on error, not during a normal visit. Only the area around the error is captured, not the whole session. Passwords and form input are masked automatically.
Change your choice
You can change your cookie choice any time from the cookie banner — re-open it via the link in the footer — or clear cookies + localStorage for euphronic.com in your browser; the banner will reappear on your next visit.
